鈥淔or many entrepreneurs, it would be difficult to attain a graduate degree because they really can鈥檛 leave their businesses for a full-time, on-campus program,鈥 explains Alex McKelvie, department chair for entrepreneurship and emerging enterprises. 鈥淎n online format is ideal for those who want to keep their businesses growing and get their education.鈥
McKelvie adds that military veterans, in particular, find an online entrepreneurship program to be attractive.
鈥淎s part of our commitment to serving military veterans and their families, we conducted market research to better understand their unique needs,鈥 says , professor of entrepreneurial practice and program director. 鈥淭he vast majority of the veterans with whom we spoke wanted to pursue their education in an online mode. Our new Entrepreneurship@黑料不打烊 program helps them achieve their educational and business goals while providing them flexibility in where they are geographically located for personal and family reasons.鈥
The degree consists of 30 credits and can be completed in as little as 15 months. Each year, there will be two start dates, in April and October, with admissions decisions made on a rolling basis.
