“Group Home Residents With Disabilities Live With Precautions To Keep COVID-19 At Bay.”

Scott Landes, associate professor of sociology in the Maxwell School, was quoted by WFYI Public Media for the story, “” Landes, an expert on the sociology of disability, researches the impact of COVID-19 particularly on those with disabilities. He says that anyone living in congregate settings during the pandemic is at a greater risk of contracting COVID-19, but those with disabilities are “about five times more likely to be diagnosed with COVID-19, which is outrageous.”
