Robert Thompson, Trustee Professor of television, radio and film and director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture, was quoted by the Orlando Sentinel for the article “” The pandemic forced Disney World to alter the terms to their annual passes by getting rid of unlimited park access. However, the pass remains the same price, which is frustrating many pass holders. Thompson, an expert on popular culture, said “the situation reminded him of when he subscribed to “Entertainment Weekly” and then afterward the magazine started publishing monthly.”
