Work by Carrie Mae Weems, University Artist in Residence, was featured in the Forbes story “” Weems’ most recent work, Resist COVID Take 6!, is a public art project that encourages the public to practice social distancing while also highlighting the disproportionate impact of the pandemic on Black Americans. Her work will be displayed across the U.S. on multiple college campuses and in major cities.
