Shubha Ghosh, Crandall Melvin Professor of Law in the College of Law, was interviewed by Reuters for the story “.” Ghosh, an expert in antitrust law and technology, explains that the government’s lawsuit against Google claims the search engine has blocked “more consumer-friendly search engines.” However, Ghosh says that Google could have a relatively simple argument by saying their effective search results were “not meant to be exclusionary.”
