Anthony D’Angelo writes “When the News Media Diminish, We All Do.”

Anthony D’Angelo, professor practice of public relations and director of communications management in the Newhouse School, wrote an op-ed for Strive Magazine titled “.” Recent questioning of the media’s trustworthiness worries D’Angelo, as he believes that the weakening of trust in the media is a threat to all political sides. “The increasingly popular argument that the news media are the enemy of the people is antithetical to their function in a democratic society: to serve as the main source for informed decision making by the people, for the people,” says D’Angelo.
