Nina Kohn writes “Netflix’s ‘I Care a Lot’ should worry you.”

Nina Kohn, the David M. Levy Professor of Law and faculty director of online education in the College of Law, co-authored an op-ed for The Hill titled “.” Kohn, an expert on elder law, comments on the new Netflix movie, which tells a story about a woman who has made a business out of becoming an emergency guardian for the elderly. While the movie may be fictional, Kohn says the movie “is not as far-fetched as it might seem,” and that abuse of conservatorship law is all too common.
