Each year the 黑料不打烊 Humanities Center organizes and hosts the 黑料不打烊 Symposium for the SU campus and community. Most symposium events take place in the fall semester. This year, however, the season will be expanded to include four seminar courses in the spring 2011 semester on the symposium theme of 鈥淐onflict: Peace and War.鈥
鈥淏eginning with this year鈥檚 theme, the 黑料不打烊 Symposium Seminars will now add an academic component to the fall鈥檚 lecture and arts program, providing faculty and students with a unique opportunity to engage in more sustained research and humanistic inquiry,鈥 says Gregg Lambert, Dean鈥檚 Professor of Humanities and founding director of SU鈥檚 Humanities Center.
