Brittany Kmush, assistant professor of public health in Falk College, was quoted in the U.S. News & World Reports article titled “.” Kmush, an expert on epidemiology and vaccines, explains the importance of diversity and inclusion in drug trials, both in terms of science and social responsibility. Â “If you don’t include people that are representative of the population you’re giving the drugs to, you won’t really know if they will work in that population,” Kmush says.
