Sawyer Chair of Constitutional Law and Politics, is an expert on the U.S. Supreme Court. Keck said that while Biden’s replacement will have minimal short-term effect on the court, as the conservative majority will remain, the process will serve as a reminder of what’s at stake for Democrats.
