‘You Are Not Alone’ List Call for Names

As part of October’s Coming Out Month celebration, the annual “You Are Not Alone” list will be published in the Daily Orange and on the SU News website on Thursday, Oct. 9. The deadline to add your name to the You Are Not Alone list is Friday, Oct. 3 by 5:00 p.m.

youarenotalone“The purpose of #OutSpokenSU is not so much about being out or coming out, but letting students know that throughout the entire University, people care about them and want them to feel included,” says Chase Catalano, director of the LGBT Resource Center. “The ‘You Are Not Alone’ list is a way for ϲ students, faculty, staff and alumni to let students know that they have many options for support within and beyond the LGBT Resource Center.”

To add your name to the ‘You Are Not Alone’ list, email lgbt@syr.edu from your ϲ/SUNY-ESF email account with your name as you would like it to appear in the publication. Please note that due to space constraints, campus affiliations and degree/professional credentials cannot be included.
