ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ

The in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s will host a public conversation on programming for the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Philharmonic on Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Fayetteville Free Library, 300 Orchard St., Fayetteville.

The public is invited to attend the conversation and discuss ways the philharmonic can meet the needs of the various communities across Central New York. Participants are invited to discuss composers, musical genres and styles and educational offerings, as well as venues, times and other information that can help the philharmonic be innovative and responsive. The center will provide information from the conversation to the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Philharmonic to assist with the organization’s programming.

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Philharmonic is a new musical organization that provides professional musical performances, products and services that meet the needs of the Central and Upstate New York region. It offers live performances, broadcasts/webcasts, musical support and recorded music products in a variety of styles, settings and ensemble configurations.

The Center for Live Music in the 21st Century is a unique entity that is a combination of a research center and arts business incubator. It conducts research on live music in 21st-century society, serves as a clearing house for best practices and provides the services of a business incubator to a variety of arts organizations. Through the center, students gain real-world experience providing products and services aligned with their studies.
