The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Concert Band will present a concert on Sunday, April 28, at 2 p.m. in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium, Crouse College. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Concert Band performs under the direction of Justin J. Mertz, assistant director of bands at SU and faculty member in the Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music in SU’s . The program will include works by Frank Ticheli, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Samuel Augustus Ward, Charles Rochester Young, Michael Giacchino, Alexander Courage, Gene Roddenberry and Edward Elgar. Samantha S. Baldwin and John C. Hylkema will appear as graduate conducting associates.

The concert band is a concert ensemble open to both music majors and non-majors at SU. It offers an opportunity to perform outstanding large-band works.
