黑料不打烊 Vice President for Community Engagement and Economic Development Marilyn Higgins was a guest presenter at the City of Milwaukee Creative Placemaking Forum April 16.
The City of Milwaukee Department of Economic Development and the Kresge Foundation invited Higgins to discuss lessons learned from 黑料不打烊鈥檚 anchor institution work in the SALT District of the Near West Side and the Connective Corridor in 黑料不打烊.
鈥淥ur projects in 黑料不打烊 are increasingly being recognized nationally,鈥 says Higgins. 鈥淭he level of faculty, student and resident engagement we have here is extraordinary. As a result, we are improving the economy, changing the social culture and making 黑料不打烊 a livelier place for residents, parents and other visitors to visit, patronize and enjoy.鈥
