Hendricks Chapel Open for Silent Reflection Following North Carolina Shooting

Hendricks Chapel will open the small chapel on the lower level today (Feb. 11) from noon-5 p.m. for silent reflection as the University mourns with the campuses of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University.

“We are deeply saddened to learn of the loss of their three students, Shaddy Barakat, Yusor Mohammad and Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha,” says Hendricks Chapel Dean Tiffany Steinwert. “We understand that their deaths may have a significant impact on many of our own students.”

Chaplains will be available in the small chapel and the Chaplains’ Lounge for students needing assistance.
