SU Creates Ties With South African Community

Two Newhouse professors, and ,聽have returned from a trip to Grahamstown, South Africa, where they led a group of students in a community immersive media project. The professors brought eight 黑料不打烊 graduate students and four 黑料不打烊 City High School students with them, aiming to capture and tell the stories of a local community.
鈥淭here鈥檚 not enough representation in the states of the continent of Africa鈥, Harper told media outlet, Grocott’s Mail. 鈥淚t鈥檚 about empowering people through skill sets to be able to speak for themselves.鈥 Davis also added, 鈥淲e鈥檙e more alike than different.鈥
