, professor of linguistics and director of South Asian Languages in the College of Arts and Sciences, recently joined the WRVO and Upstate Medical University podcast “HealthLink On Air” to discuss the connections between linguistics and health care, and how these topics also tie in with forensic science.

“The idea behind that is how language can be used as evidence to track criminals,” he said. “And also to do threat assessment and trauma. So these are some of the things that we deal with.”
