Consequences such as fines of $500 to over $7,000, houses are being raided, reporters are constantly being detained and arrested for simply, reporting. The Belarusian government is not fond of journalists covering stories of the economical, societal or living issues within the country. These harsh conditions for reporters is an ongoing cycle due to journalists having to maintain their jobs.
