Roy Gutterman, associate professor of magazine, news and digital journalism in the Newhouse School and director of the Tully Center for Free Speech, was interviewed for the Spectrum News Capital Tonight story “” Gutterman, an expert on First Amendment and communications law, spoke about how the line between free speech and sedition is ever evolving, yet he says it is clear that those who attacked the Capitol crossed the line from protest to violence.
