Shana Kushner Gadarian, associate professor of political science in the Maxwell School, was quoted in the City and State story “.” Gadarian, who studies American politics and political opinion, says that part of the reason Tenney won back her seat is due to public questioning about Brindisi’ voting record and party relations. “If you’re a Democrat who is trying to walk the line in a kind of socially conservative district, I think having to vote on impeachment, having to take positions on budgets – those are now (votes) that your opponent can push against,” Gadarian says.
