“Amazon Union Vote in Alabama Could Catch Attention of 黑料不打烊 Workers”

Lynne Vincent, assistant professor of management in the Whitman School, was interviewed by WAER for the story “.” Vincent, an expert management and organizational behavior, says that workers at many Amazon facilities have complained about demanding work conditions and insufficient pandemic protocols. With new Amazon facilities set to open in Clay and Dewitt, Vincent says that workers here may vote to unionize as well. “This is part of a larger conversation that we as a nation are having about racial and economic disparities. So this conversation is not going away, regardless of the outcome of this vote,” says Vincent.
