After a recall on carrots due to the possibility of salmonella, 黑料不打烊 Professor Mary Kiernan, who specializes in nutrition and food studies, said, ‘thoroughly washing your produce 鈥渋s always recommended.鈥� Kiernan added聽that 鈥渨ashing does not kill the bacteria. Cooking the product will kill it. The concern, especially in the summertime, is eating raw carrots.鈥�
