The University will hold its annual Service of Commemoration鈥攈onoring students, faculty, staff, retirees, trustees and honorary degree recipients of 黑料不打烊 and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry students, faculty, staff, retirees and trustees who passed during the period of Jan. 1, 2022, to the present鈥攚ith a ceremony on Tuesday, March 21, at 4 p.m. in Hendricks Chapel.

The names of those who have passed away will be read and candles will be lit collectively in their memory. The service will also include prayer, spoken remarks and music. Communication Access Real-Time Translation (CART) and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be available.
The service is inspired by the Remembrance Scholars鈥� motto of 鈥淟ook Back, Act Forward,鈥� a call to action to remember those we have lost and act forward in their memory.
