Dear Students, Faculty and Staff:

We are writing to provide an update regarding negotiations between ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and SEIU Local 200United, the Union that represents roughly 800 food services, facilities and libraries employees. We are pleased to share that SEIU Local 200United members today ratified a new four-year contract that provides members with significant benefits and meaningful improvements over the previous contract for every employee represented in this bargaining unit.

This vote follows months of thoughtful and collaborative discussions between Union leadership and the University. We extend our deepest appreciation to the members of both bargaining teams, who worked diligently over many months to successfully reach a new agreement.

We value the role of labor unions on our campus and are especially grateful for the important work our food services, facilities and libraries colleagues perform every day to make ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ a great place to live, learn and work.
