Seven original designs by the late fashion icon Christian Dior are on view in the exhibition “Christian Dior 1947-1957” through Nov. 3 at the Design Gallery at The Warehouse.

“The 39 Steps” will run Oct. 20-Nov. 7 at ���ϲ����� Stage, marking the start of Stage’s 2010-2011 mainstage season.

Artist Cui Fei will lecture on her new site-specific works on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 6:30 p.m. in Shemin Auditorium in the Dorothea Ilgen Shaffer Art Building.

On Oct. 20, ���ϲ����� Symposium and Punto de Contacto/Point of Contact will present a symposium on poet Alejandra Pizarnik.

Architectural designer and glass sculptor James Carpenter will speak at the ���ϲ����� School of Architecture on Tuesday, Oct. 12.

Artist Edgar Jerins, who is known for his large-scale portraits, will present a lecture on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
