Azza Basarudin, a future of minority studies (FMS) postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Women’s & Gender Studies (WGS) at ���ϲ�����, is giving a free lecture titled “Gender Justice, Feminist Mediation and Islamic Reformation in Malaysia.”

On Friday, April 9, the ���ϲ����� Humanities Center will present Religion in Scholarship, an interdisciplinary symposium exploring the changing relationship between religion and scholarly study. The all-day symposium will take place in the Tolley Humanities Building, room 304 and will be keynoted by Hamid Dabashi, professor of Iranian studies and comparative literature at Columbia University.

���ϲ����� Library Associates will present its annual Mary Marshall Lecture on April 22 at 5 p.m. in the Peter Graham Scholarly Commons, on the first floor in E.S. Bird Library, 222 Waverly Avenue.

Windjammer, ���ϲ�����’s vocal jazz ensemble, will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a concert on Sunday, April 11.

Greg Epstein, Harvard University’s humanist chaplain and author of The New York Times best-seller, “Good Without God: What a Billion Nonreligious People Do Believe” (HarperCollins, 2009), is speaking at ���ϲ����� on Monday, March 29.

Featuring Onondaga faithkeeper and All-American lacrosse goalie Oren Lyons and former SU player and coach Roy Simmons, Jr., the program is part of the “Onondaga Land Rights & Our Common Future” series.
