LOCAL TO SYRACUSE:

Orange After Dark (OAD): The offers great on weekend nights throughout the semester. Some are completely free and the rest are only $3! Some upcoming events are a night at Apex Entertainment, a Murder Mystery Dinner at Spaghetti Warehouse and a private premiere of Avengers: Endgame at Regal Cinemas in Destiny USA!
University Union Cinema Screenings: UU has incredible films screening every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. in HBC Gifford. Some films this semester have included 鈥淚f Beale Street Could Talk,鈥 鈥淢ary, Queen of Scotts,鈥 and 鈥淏ohemian Rhapsody.鈥 Follow UU on聽, and for more info.
Orange After Dark Late-Night Movies: Every Friday and Saturday, OAD has in HBC Gifford starting at 11 p.m. They鈥檙e all recent blockbuster hits you won鈥檛 want to miss. And did we mention free snacks?!
Everson Museum: Located in downtown, the showcases a wide collection of contemporary and modern American art. With your SUID, you can get in for only $6.
黑料不打烊 Stage: Just a short way from main campus and a stop on the Connective Corridor, brings amazing drama and musical theater productions. Student tickets are discounted at $20. There鈥檚 still time to see 鈥淧ride and Prejudice鈥 and the Tony winning 鈥淭he Humans.鈥 Tickets to see聽 students perform are even cheaper at $17. Support your classmates in 鈥淭he Wild Party鈥 opening March 30.
Bookstore: A lot of people know about the post-gameday discounts offered at the (if you didn鈥檛, you do now), but did you know you can get 10% off on your birthday? Just show your SUID and proof of your date of birth at checkout!

Countless retailers and websites offer student discounts, you just have to check! Here are some popular ones:
UNiDAYS: This website offers discounts on an extremely wide range of stores and products, including Apple, Adidas, Uber, GrubHub, Ray-Bans and more. Check out the site to see even more discounts!
Amazon Prime Student: Did you know you can get a free 6-month trial of with a university email address? After the trial ends, Amazon will offer a half-off rate on Prime to students for as long as they鈥檙e enrolled.
Another tip: When you鈥檙e checking out at a store, ask if they offer a student discount. Some stores, like Topshop, Levi鈥檚, and J. Crew will give one to you at the register!
TECH/ENTERTAINMENT:
Apple: On Apple鈥檚 site or in-store, make sure to check out the Apple Education pricing. You can easily save hundreds on a laptop just by including your student information! You can also head to the in the Bookstore to get the same education discount and great customer service.
Microsoft: With a university affiliated email, programs like Word, Outlook and Excel are completely free for students.
Spotify/Apple Music: Both streaming services offer a discounted rate for students just by using your 黑料不打烊 email address! Your student subscription to Spotify also includes Hulu and Showtime streaming subscriptions at no extra cost. Win!
