ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students regardless of class year and major, get ready for the Fall 2021 Virtual Career Week! Last year’s first virtual Career Week was such a success, the fine folks at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Career Services have once again organized an entirely virtual Career Week. See the Career Fair dates below.
Why is it beneficial?
Career Week swings doors open to students for internships, trainings in professional development skills and general professional employment exploration. Nearly 300 top employers will show up to recruit for internship and full-time, entry level opportunities.
You will gain confidence speaking with future employers, while uncovering opportunities that line up with your career goals, and even obtain offers!

Pat’s Tips for Virtual Career Week
1. Update your resume.
Take advantage of the , a 24-hour resume review platform. VMock will give you specific feedback based on criteria from employers and industry best practices. can also help you update your resume
2. Identify then research companies of interest.
Believe it or not it is super helpful to come to the Career Fair knowing a bit about the companies you’re interested in. Dive in and gain an understanding of the organization’s current state, problem’s they’re facing and the overall industry landscape.
3. Let’s Get Virtual
Virtual Career Fairs present some nuances when it comes to getting ready for career week. First, find a secluded, quiet and well-lit spot to attend the events and confirming that strength of the Wi-Fi is always a good idea. Second, if possible, use headphones to avoid echoing or any other audio issues. Third, although this is virtual, be sure to dress appropriately. This is still a professional event, and just because you may be in your residence, try not to dress like it!
4. Go to workshops.
