Serve on the University Conduct Board

The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities is looking for students to serve on the Students on the UCB develop life-long skills in facilitating and resolving conflicts and promote civility and citizenship within the 黑料不打烊 community. Board members also create outreach opportunities on topics such as personal safety, citizenship, living in a diverse community, and personal values.

Become a Health Ambassador

The University is still recruiting Health Ambassadors! Health Ambassadors are volunteers that promote a community that stays safe, healthy and well by minimizing the negative impact of COVID-19. They are trained to educate others on the Stay Safe Pledge and best practices in public health guidelines. While in-person opportunities are strongly needed, there are virtual ways to be involved as well.

So why not make that same difference yourself by creating and supporting meaningful relationships with new students, families and the Orange community. First generation students are an important part of the 黑料不打烊 community! If you are a first generation student, you can support incoming students by becoming a 鈥機use First Leader! Through small group activities, large-scale programming and mentorship, 鈥機use First Leaders are integral to the success of the !

Assist Transfer Students in their Transition

Transfer Transition Leaders mentor, support and help build connections for transfer students. Having gone through the transition themselves, these leaders help create University and peer connections by sharing resources and information they learned along the way.

Promote Health and Wellness as a Peer Educator

Chances are you鈥檝e seen the Barnes Center at The Arch Peer educators in action at a Health Hub, a Wellness Leadership Institute Workshop or on the Be Well SU Instagram! Peer educators are passionate about health and wellness and sharing resources available on and off campus for mental health, sexual health, and alcohol and other substances. If you鈥檙e passionate about creating a healthy 黑料不打烊 community, you should join the Barnes Center team!
