Barry Davidson, a Meredith Professor in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science (LCS), has been awarded the Wayne W. Stinchcomb Award for outstanding research, service and contributions to the field of composite materials.

Jason R. Wiles, assistant professor of biology, has received the 2010 Science and Technology Outreach Award from the Technology Alliance of Central New York (TACNY).

Dacheng Ren, assistant professor of biomedical engineering at the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science, has been named the 2010 College Technology Educator of the Year by the Technology Alliance of Central New York (TACNY).

Veteran Skylab Astronaut Gerald P. Carr will present the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation’s 2010-11 scholarship award to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ senior Nathaniel J. Miska during a public lecture on Friday, Sept. 17.

The awards will be part of the Orange Central celebration.

Timothy K. Eatman, assistant professor of higher education in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s School of Education and director of research for Imagining America: Artists and Scholars in Public Life, has been selected to receive the International Association for Research on Service-learning and Community Engagement (IARSLCE) Early Career Award.
