VPA will present its annual fashion show “Vision with Action” in New York City on Thursday, June 10, at 7:30 p.m. at JPMorgan Chase, One Chase Manhattan Plaza, 60th floor.

The Newhouse School recently won two 2009 Mark of Excellence Awards from the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ).

Twelve graduating seniors have been designated as ���ϲ����� Scholars. This designation is the highest undergraduate academic honor bestowed at the University.

Jaklin Kornfilt, professor of languages, literatures and linguistics (LLL) in SU’s College of Arts and Sciences, has been elected recipient of the 2010 Humboldt Research Award.

���ϲ�����’s Remembrance Scholar Committee has chosen the 35 students who will be the 2010-11 Remembrance Scholars.

University College of ���ϲ����� will honor the part-time students of the class of 2010 at its 62nd annual Commencement celebration, May 13 at Hendricks Chapel.

The ���ϲ����� Department of Public Safety honored 12 of its employees, along with three members of the University community, at the third annual DPS Awards Ceremony, held April 28.

A group of television-radio-film (TRF) students from ���ϲ�����’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications won an Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation College Television Award for Outstanding Narrative Series for their television series “Limelight.”

���ϲ����� has been named one of the 2010 Green 15 by GDC’s InfoWorld for the University’s innovative Green Data Center (GDC).
