No Child . . ., a nationally acclaimed one-person show documenting a teacher’s struggles and triumphs in New York City’s public school system, will run Sept. 21—Oct. 10 in the Storch Theatre as an off-subscription special presentation in ���ϲ����� Stage’s 2010/2011 season.

���ϲ�����’s College of Visual and Performing Arts will present “white elephant,” its second annual New York City show by master of fine arts degree candidates, June 2-6 at Dumbo Arts Center, 30 Washington St., Brooklyn.

VPA will present its annual fashion show “Vision with Action” in New York City on Thursday, June 10, at 7:30 p.m. at JPMorgan Chase, One Chase Manhattan Plaza, 60th floor.

Beginning in fall 2010, the College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) will be accepting applications for an undergraduate interdisciplinary visual culture minor.

William Cleveland, the director of the Center for the Study of Art and Community (CSA&C) on Bainbridge Island, Wash., will deliver the keynote address at the College of Visual and Performing Arts’ convocation ceremony on Saturday, May 15.

Work by longtime VPA faculty members John Orentlicher, Michael Sickler and Barbara Ellen Walter will be presented in the exhibition “Contemporary Practices in the Arts” May 6-June 30 at the Louise and Bernard Palitz Gallery at Joseph I. Lubin House.

August Wilson’s “Fences” will open May 5 at ���ϲ����� Stage.

���ϲ����� Stage will hold local Equity auditions for the 2010/2011 season on Tuesday, May 11, from noon-8 p.m., and on Friday, May 14, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Nine area high school students have been chosen as the winners of the 12th annual Young Playwrights Festival at ���ϲ����� Stage. The winning works will be performed by students from the Department of Drama in ���ϲ�����’s College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA), at a staged reading at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, in the Archbold Theatre at ���ϲ����� Stage, 820 East Genesee St.
