Jim Weiss ’86, chairman, CEO and founder of Weisscomm Group, will visit the Newhouse School on Tuesday, Nov. 2.

���ϲ����� will host the afternoon-long symposium “Who’s Been Telling Our Story? W.E.B. DuBois and 100 Years of The Crisis Magazine” on Tuesday, Oct. 26.

Journalist Luisita Lopez Torregrosa will visit ���ϲ�����’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications on Tuesday, Nov. 9, as part of the school’s Leaders in Communications lecture series.

Nearly 100 students from the Newhouse School will turn their attention to the local town of Auburn this fall, spending the weekend of Oct. 15-17 getting to know the community during an annual multimedia and photo workshop.

This fall, at five universities including SU, Cotton Inc. launched the “Cotton. From Blue to Green.®” denim drive, a call to action to donate denim and give it a new life by converting it into natural cotton fiber insulation.
